We believe the use of natural and herbal remedies is what has helped our animal residents stay healthy. We recognize the need for veterinary care, however, there are natural grown herbs, flowers, and produce that can help bolster many animal's immune systems keeping them in excellent shape.
All the herb mixes we sell, we also use here at the Sanctuary. We are able to grow many of the herbs on-site. If not grown here on the farm, we make every effort to find quality, organic herbs. These herb blends have been carefully and thoughtfully crafted by a Registered Herbalist for the upmost benefit to our rescued farm animals. We hope you see the benefit they can provide to your livestock whether you have a large herd of goats or just a few chickens that you want the best for.
Unlike medications, herbs sometimes take more time to benefit the animal. It is wise to start a regiment of daily herbs on a consistent level so that the benefits build in your livestock animal's system and produce the best results for you and your valued goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, rabbits etc. The tradeoff is an extremely low occurrence of side effects (if any) and you do not usually have to stop any consumption of eggs, milk, or meat on your part if that is something you do.

____Chicken Antiviral/Respiratory Herbs 4 Oz $20 (See other listing for larger single 1 oz pkg)
Contains a proprietary blend of herbals to assist with respiratory or viral concerns. Herbs include oregano, thyme, peppermint, garlic and others to assist in the heeling of respiratory or viral issues. These herbs are also considered antibiotic. We administer to our chickens after an injury, when we hear a sneeze, after days of cold, wet weather and when they have had treatment for bumble-foot. Also good if transporting. See your Vet with any serious concerns. These herbs will aid your chicken along with any Veterinary care.
At first sign of concern, injury or illness and/or after a diagnosis from a Vet: Isolate the chicken and give 1 Tsp twice a day for 7 days then maintain ½ Tsp for 7 more days. You can also set a small container of Antiviral herb out for chicken to eat throughout the week. Make sure it is eating at least the recommended dosage daily. Can continue as long as needed but if there is still a concern for health of chicken please see your vet. Can be used along with Daily Herb.
Available in 1oz pkg to have on hand to place in isolated chicken’s area. If chicken is healing from injury, this is great to empty into small container so sick chicken can consume as desired to promote health and healing.
4 oz pkg is great to have on hand for use as needed for the many reasons chickens sometimes need a little help recovering from ailments. Antiviral and antibiotic properties of these herbs benefit after injuries, respiratory concerns, or healing from bumble-foot and other infections.
Can be used for other poultry such as ducks, turkey, guinea fowl, geese, quail and more. Increase each dosage by 1/4-1/2 tsp for larger poultry and down 1/4 tsp for smaller.
