They are fitted with Metal Hasps and Handles, it is up to yourself to fit security elements, that is not a requirement of the FAO, but you MUST NOT PASS ANY BOLTS THROUGH THE BOX TO ATTACH ITEMS TO IT, that is creating entry holes and potential projectile elements.

These boxes are made from exterior grade ply WPB with liners and a 6mm removable divider.  It is all  glued and security screwed for some extra security, even thought the emphasis is the fire proof rather than the security that is all upon your own choice, your home and your location security must be within HO guidelines and your FAO approval, changing the spec of the box will not define the security of your home, or where your location of the box is to be, that's logical . The hinges and hasp are fitted with excess variable tamper screws. They are with four compartments, which will each fit 1kg VHIT or similar size powder pots . The handles to these four bottle boxes are timber to either side for ease of you to pass security wire through if need be via a fitting, you will require to attach a fitting of your choice, one is not fitted as it it not known where you want it so, photographs show various wooden handles, this for display only they will be Metal Nickel Case Handles. The side catches are a more substantial one than shown but it for workshop secure only use, and there will be external flip style locking catches to either side.  Metal Case Handles are fitted on request in Zinc Galvanised, supply is limited of late and fittings may be of a Black Powder Coated variety that we do ourselves in Cambridge. You can whatever handles you wish yourself if need be after you see what sort of security you will take action on so it may be an after thought as the handles have no requirement for security screws. We will be fitting the new format front loaded Clasp/Locks soon on these upon thier supply situation.

FAO's will have different opinions and approaches, and we will manufacture them to suit if you have requests. Upon our tests under conditions of ten plus years ago interior plywood will burn in three to five minutes, above certain rates hence its "non-compliance" in the building industry, intumescent strip therefore has very little impact, WPB has an approximate thirty-six minute burn rate that the same as most strips if not longer, giving the escape element and seal period. Our YouTube test tapes show burn rates of four minutes to disintegrate to thirty plus against WPB in a flame situation.
