MAKER: Unknown Sheffield Plater - all pieces are unmarked except for some stamped numerals on the handles. Style and construction indicates circa 1830.

PIECE NAME: Pair Sauce Tureens
DIMENSIONS: ~6" to top of lid; 3 1/4" tall without lid; 7 3/4" handle to handle; 5 1/4" across.
WEIGHT: 4lbs 11oz (pair)
CONDITION: Some plate loss with copper showing through on the fluted ridges. The threaded post on one of the handles has been broken off, but the handle is still held securely. Two of the nuts on the handles were missing and have been replaced with brass crown nuts. No dings, dents, deep scratches. Interiors are quite clean.
