Flying Horse of Gansu Chinese Running Horse Statue heavy metal

It's been painted over. I don't know anything about metals, but this is heavy. Might be cast metal. Edges indicate a sort of "messy" break from its mold; or not filed. But this piece is very intriguing and sort of humorous. A real joy to look at.
