Standard Bumper Hardness = 60A to 70A range, depending on size.
Black (FIRM) has a higher load capacity. Hardness = 75A to 80A
Black (SOFT) is flexible and good for vibration control. Hardness = 40A to 55A
Important: 1/2" DIA Black (SOFT) is not suitable for cutting boards because the washer can pull out too easily. These are best used for light duty applications. Recessing the bumper into the wood will strengthen it considerably.
