Pretty halo ring in solid platinum with one cabochon 9.7mm x 7.8mm star sapphire (6.78 carat stamped). It is a deep domed stone with a face similar to a 5 carat stone. It forms a faint 6 point star that moves at different angles. The color is a nice blend of purple and pink.

There is a full halo of baguette diamonds (0.40 carat stamped), H/I I1 clarity.

Face of the setting is 15.2mm x 12.7mm
