With runners on second and third base in the fourth inning, Juan Yepez stepped up to bat versus Alex Cobb with two outs. The Cardinals rookie batted this precise baseball for a foul in an at-bat that resulted in a strikeout. On the day, Juan went 1-for-4 with a double in the ninth inning of the 3-2 St. Louis victory. The fourth inning appearance marks the ninth at-bat in Yepez's rookie year in which he compiled 12 home runs, 30 RBI, 27 runs scored and a .253 batting average.
