Matched set, left and right GDA 1 and GDA 2. MAFAC Bte SGDG MADE IN FRANCE. The Delrin coating is pleasant to the touch, in case you are riding without gloves. Guidonnet brakes allow a more upright position, which is easier on the neck.

In the 1960s Mafac advertised that these levers are so efficient that you can brake with one finger. This is a true claim. The large levers are 16 cm long (developed length), affording ample leverage.

But the main reason for these brake levers is the style. They are quintessentially French. Beautiful patina on both the aluminum and the Delrin, which at this age resembles ivory. These unique and very rare levers will add an unmistakable and distinctive touch of class to your randoneer or constructeur bicycle.
