This is a very nice build quality model and it is easy to see why they were once very acclaimed.

Unit powers on but it is not known what is wrong with it.

Beep codes work. Battery light flashing because battery is probably bad. 

Screen will not light up. It is possible display or backlighting is broken but I am unable to confirm.
