Large Paper Mâché Clown Climbing Ladder - J.E. 'Jo' Shenkel Limited Edition #19

This very large art piece is created and signed by none other than Artist, Jo Shenkel.  This limited edition piece is just that...very limited.  Numbered 19 of 250, this artist, having now passed away, will not use her creative forces for art anymore. 

Measuring 55 inches (plus) of height and roughly 20 inches at widest, this art sculpture is stunning to look at.  Perhaps the majestic clown is climbing the ladder to help out a trapezist, or perhaps this is the only way down into a clown car.  No one can know, but you could spend hours looking at the emotive expression of his face. 

Expertly created.  Vibrant blues, whites, and black are artfully painted onto the sculpture.  The colors used on the face and hair really bounce off the subdued colors mentioned already.
