Based on Torben Larsen's findings over the years he lived in Botswana (1989-1992); he had pretty much completed the text in 2006. The manuscript was not illustrated however and there have been numerous taxonomic revisions in the interim period - it required considerable editing prior to publication and now includes text illustrations of set specimens and some of living butterflies.
