This George Washington Presidential Inaugural Button is inscribed: "March The Fourth 1789" with Eagle and Sun design, was struck with a different die than that used for the ordinary WI-1A pieces."

Provenance: This Washington inaugural button has an intriguing provenance, with its most recent notable appearance on Season 1, Episode 20 of the renowned TV show "Pawn Stars". It was subsequently entrusted to Dana Linett, president of Early American, and a recognized expert consulted during that very episode. The button was acquired by our client on February 19th, 2012, from Early American as verifiable through the invoice image. As well Dana Linett has confirmed that this is the exact button that was present on the show.
