I am the seller of this item, and I thought I would tell you what I am doing.
After quite a few years of collecting stamps, I have decided it is now time to part with my collection.
My mother, bless her heart, started me on the stamp collecting journey when I was about 10 years old. I put it away during my teen years, and then life happened. I picked it up again about 20 years ago, in earnest. But now I am over 70, the eyesight is failing a bit, and other things are taking precedence.
No one in my family is a stamp collector. So over the next many months, I will be listing my stamps on eBay...started with the "A" countries last year, but I will be listing my stamps in a random order to keep things interesting (I hope!). Most stamps are mounted on a nice black selection card, included in the purchase.
I try to be accurate, fair, and honest, but I am human so I will likely make mistakes. I'm weeding out the badly damaged items, but selling stamps with minor faults (creases, blunt corners, pulled perfs., etc.).
Canadian stamps are valued using the 2022 Unitrade Catalogue. World stamp prices will typically be approximately 1/2 Scott catalogue (2020 Edition) value unless it's a special item. Canadian prices are converted from U.S. using XE.COM and are accurate at the time of conversion.
