Ozette is a heirloom variety of potato with history. It is probably one the first potatoes introduced to the world . It was most likely brought from Chile to Washington in the late 1700s by Spanish explorers. The native people carried on growing the potato, until it was recognized and made commercially available . Unfortunately, it is really difficult to breed them. so probably this seeds will be the last seeds available .
