Might actually be an Optima Elite 2 according to some web sites. Hopefully the buyer has better knowledge about this than yours truly.
Cosmetics are pretty neat, although there is tiny corroded spots to be found in the chrome color parts here and there. Even though there's no case, I'd say this is still quite presentable.
Some imperfections I've found, although nothing drastic:
- Might be missing the paper rest, as there's a gap for one in the carriage.
- Capital letters don't always advance the carriage if you type very gently. If you type as one normally would, carriage progress seems to also be normal.
- Finally, ribbon direction doesn't change automatically when ribbon ends, but you need to swap the reels manually.
On the plus side, the typeface is quite pretty, ribbon seems to be fresh and there's nothing major preventing typing away with the thing right out of the box.
