1937 STRAITS SETTLEMENT, Interesting Air Mail Cover from SINGAPORE for BRINDISI
1938 STRAITS SETTLEMENT, letter from Singapore (sent by the Conte Verde motor ship, see reverse of the cover) for Brindisi franked with the values 5c., 10c. (x3) and 30c. with effigy of George VI. The motor ship owned by Lloyd Triestino, to whom the letter is addressed, had an accident due to a typhoon in Hong Kong in September 1937 and only continued its return journey the following month. From Trieste to Shanghai and back via Suez, Bombay, Colombo, Singapore and Hong Kong in 24 days. A / letters
