This belt belongs from the 70s -possibly during the Angelo Tarlazzi years. Familiar ethic/boho /Gypsy style theme that’s very rive gauche /ballet russes.

Belt has a lurex like needlepoint floral motif that shimmers in the light. Three tasseled ropes - two for tying and an extra shorter rope for styling. Inside is leather and is stamped “Jean Patou Paris” . Color in a mid tone burgundy - a bright metallic sheen in present in the light.

Size small for 25-28 waist. 28 inches long. 26 inches tied. 2.5 inches wide.
