LAKE SUPERIOR IRON: Chronicles nearly 100 years of natural iron mining operations on eight iron ranges in three states and Ontario. The 54-minute narrated DVD video tells the story through photos, postcards, 8 mm film and video. Also includes a CD with photos and mining brochures.

TACONITE RAILROADS & PLANTS ON MINNESOTA’S MESABI IRON RANGE: The two-hour narrated DVD video follows common carriers Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range and Burlington Northern and private mining railroads Reserve Mining, Cyprus Northshore Mining, Cliffs Northshore Mining, Erie Mining and LTV Steel Mining from the Mesabi Iron Range to Lake Superior.
Includes tours inside three massive taconite processing plants.

UNION RAILROAD - U.S. STEEL’S PITTSBURGH LIFELINE: The narrated 80-minute tour of the Union starts where it connects with the Bessemer & Lake Erie and heads south to see the sights at US Steel’s Edgar Thomson Works. After crossing the river, the railroad is followed to its main yard and on to the Irvin Works and Clairton coke plant.

HOT METAL - STEEL MILLS & RAILROADS IN NORTH AMERICA: The first part of the 98-minute narrated DVD video starts at a steel mill in East Chicago for an inside tour of the coke plant and operating blast furnace,
including a tap on the casthouse floor. The second part visits 48 steel mills and foundries in the United States and Canada and includes railroads associated with the steel industry. Also has a CD with photos and brochures.
