The strap sample was made: Cartier Roadster green croco leather strap, 19(18.5)x18 mm in width, 112x112 mm in length, thick 6 mm taper to 1.4 mm, green stitching, dyed and burnished edges, brown calf lining.
The thick at watch lug end of the strap is 6 mm, and the thick at tail end is 1.4 mm. The thick 6 mm would bear the heavy watch, and the ultra thin thick 1.4 mm at the tail end would fit your Cartier deployant clasp very well.
The selling item is one custom made quick change croco leather strap, no including the watch and the buckle.

The Cartier Roadster quick change croco leather strap is one of the most difficult hand made watch strap.
The Cartier Roadster has the particular structure at watch lugs. There are a pair of quick change metal inserts at lug ends of OEM Cartier Roadster strap. We need the quick change metal inserts of the Cartier Roadster old strap to produce the middle layer of the new custom strap.
I have to pare the calf leather to be a proper thick, and package the quick change metal inserts with the calf leather to produce the middle layer of the new custom strap.
After that, we glue together among the up side croco leather skin, the middle metal insert layer and the back side calf lining and sew these three pieces together.
Please take a look at 10th photo, the current roadster OEM leather straps were made of paper board pad. But, we pared the calf leather to be a proper thick, and package the quick change metal inserts with the calf leather to produce the middle layer leather board pad in stead of the paper board pad of the old OEM strap.
Therefore, our Cartier Roadster quick change croco leather strap will be more durable and cheaper than the original OEM watch strap.
PS: The middle layer of Cartier roadster OEM leather strap was made of paper board pad.
And the Cartier roadster OEM leather strap didn't really sewn between the upside leather and the lining. Please take a look at the last two photos.

All of my crocodile straps are completely made by hand, made of some pieces of Genuine leather ( include the front side croco leather skin, the middle calf pad and the reverse side calf lining ), dyed & burnished edges and hand stitched with waxed natural linen thread.
The natural linen thread has a little fiber. We do not use the the cheap nylon thread. Please take a look at the last photo in which you can see our threads are the best.
