Your Technics SL-B3 will not auto return. The spindle gear is possibly cracked, loose and causing the problem. You need to remove the platter on your turntable to see the old spindle gear. The old cracked gear can be removed from the top without disassembling your turntable. Our new spindle gear can be pressed in topside with the included press jig. It's that simple! Our gears are made in the U.S.A.
