This painting was created using a technique that involves laying leaves on paper, I then drop paint onto leaves and let it dry overnight. The leaves are removed and picture is then drawn over the imprint of the leaves.

I visited a friend in her garden at some point during Covid when it was allowed. I loved the hollyhocks that were growing so strong and in vibrant colours. This picture was inspired by pictures that I took at the time.
