This listing is for a RIGHT FRONT OR LEFT REAR new motor kit to replace the early large round and large square motors fitted to early XJS cars, early XJ6/ XJ12 series 1, 2 and 3 cars. This is a new Bosch style motor, we have sold well over 200 of these and have had some fantastic feedback on them. These are smaller and thinner than the early large motors, please look at the last picture which shows this.

This motor is compatible with all the motors in the pictures.

This is a aftermarket motor which is modified and supplied with a kit to fit your early style regulator.

If you have a early square bodies motor with the double earth style wiring plugs the wiring is different and you will need a relay block conversion to make this compatible. Please send us a message if this is the case and we will send you a motor with a relay conversion.

This will fit series 2 coupe cars, the RH front motor will also work for the LH rear regulator. Therefore if you need the LH rear motor then please buy the RH front motor and visa versa.
