There are actually two types of Savoia in the film Porco Rosso.
One type appears in the first half of the film and is shot down by Curtis, and the other type in the second half of the film is restored at the Fio factory after being shot down, with a new engine and wings.
The FJ3 Savoia Late Type is modelled on the type from the second half of the film.
The modifications depicted in the film are reproduced in this kit.
