The battery that comes with this unit does not work.

I used a battery from another unit to power this unit up to show that it works. 

Missing the round cover to one side that goes near the lens, it does not effect the function of the unit at all. 

Other cover, the writing is wearing out, does not effect the function of the unit at all.
