I love the bright colors and the absolutely amazing African Carnelian stone beads. These stones are vintage, and to be honest, i have never seen such gorgeous shades of orange. I also have some very, very old Carnelian stones. The cut is unusual.

The Krobo beads have the most beautiful bright decorative writing on them. It's done by adding more of the glass paint in layers and firing for 10 minutes between adding a new layer of paint. This gives it the raised appearance.

The black beads are Ebony. So beautiful, and the difference is the weight as they are heavier than other black painted wood beads. I did grab a bead that wasn't Ebony. It won't be noticeable to an untrained eye, but it is one of the round beads. I didn't notice until i was completely done with the piece, and as a perfectionist, i was pretty upset. Lol

The cream colored beads are Bovine bone beads, nice size, and polished.

The wood beads are beautiful, i bought from an older lady, they belonged to her father. This is about the last of them, but they are hand cut, and i believe an American hardwood. The smalled wood spacers are just a painted Cocunut wood.

Black glass triangle beads are from India.

That does it for this one. The Necklace is strung on heavy wire with Stainless steel clasp and components.

Thanks, Kimberly
