Digital Hi-Hats with Advanced Multi-Sensor Triggering

Roland's unique digital pads, combined with the high-speed processing of the V-Drums sound source module, take electronic drums to the next stage. It responds to and expresses the subtle nuances of the performer, something that has never been possible with electronic drums before.

The VH-14D dramatically improves performance expression that was previously unattainable, such as its sensitivity, tone variation, and open-close resolution analysis. The two-piece, thinner 14-inch pad provides a more natural feel, and the high-resolution sensor system accurately reads the strength of your blows, the position of the stick you hit, and your pedal work. Not only can foot splashes be expressed naturally, but the hi-hat can also be muted with a touch of the hand, just like an acoustic drum.

The addition of the VH-14D to the PD-140DS (digital snare) and CY-18DR (digital ride) further sublimates the expressive power of Roland V-Drums by evolving the three pads for which a sense of nuance is most important in drum performance.

The VH-14D can be used with the TD-50 and TD-27 when updated. In addition, the TD-50 can be purchased with the TD-50X Upgrade (sold separately), which adds new features such as hi-hat tones that maximize the appeal of the VH-14D.

Designed to maximize the sound source performance of the TD-50X, this digital hi-hat is equipped with a high-resolution sensor system.

Thin, 14-inch pads for acoustic-like feel and expressiveness.

Precise analysis and expression of the force of the strike, the position of the stick struck, and the pedal work.

A wide range of touch sensors that can be muted by hand.
