Pretty Sitzendorf oil lamp standing 57cm tall and now converted to electricity.

The lamp is profusely encrusted with pink roses to the base and drop-in font, and the base is flanked by two semi clad winged cherubs. The original duplex burner is present which has been modified with a bayonet lamp holder the cable of which, exits the burner through the side. The round bulge chimney slots into the burner and an antique shade gallery is fitted. The lamp has a nice long white flex with in-line on/off switch and three pin plug.

The lamp is completed with a mushroom shaped milk glass shade of unknown age.

Bulb not included.

Condition

Minimal losses to the flowers as pictured, however there are a couple of small chips to the base rim which have been disguised, and cracks to the font. Neither of these flaws are visible when the font is in place and neither inhibit the use now that the lamp is converted.

Fully marked to the underside with the blue underglaze Sitzendorf mark.
