Vintage Gay Fad ‘90’s Gibson Girl set of 7, in excellent used condition includes: 6 (six) frosted glass mugs and 1 (one) cocktail mixer glass. Each mug contains a detailed design and “Here’s to“ poem and holds @15 ounces.  The tall frosted glass shaker holds 30 ounces and is marked in increments up to 29 ounces.

They are by Federal Glass, made in USA, designed and painted by Gay Fad Studios, a major glass decorating business (1945-1962) . 

Mugs include six different poems in the Here’s To collection: Friends; Health; You, a Gal of Distinction; Success; Love; Us. Rims of mugs are in a deep cranberry red in bright condition. All designs are colorful and bright and you can feel the texture of the designs on the mugs and mixing glass. One glass,most likely a favorite, is slightly worn: Health, with the weight-lifting man, whose message reads: “ Here’s to health, Drink to inspire us. Look out for snakes, Beware of Virus!” Please see in photos that weight-lifting man mug is more worn. 

Paint is still raised and quite visible in the overall design.

Estate find, no cracks, chips, odors or stains. Storage in smoke free home. Will be well packaged to arrive safely!
