T.A. Lytle Paper Label Toronto Lime Juice Bottle 1890s.

An awesome late 19th century bottle measuring 32 cm tall by 7.2 cm wide. The bottle has embossed leaves and what appear to be flowers or citrus fruits all over, and has “T.A. LYTLE & CO TORONTO” on the base.

This example is exceptional for its original paper label on the front, which reads:

Lime Fruit Juice

Trade mark registered

Sterling Brand

Prepared by

The T.A. Lytle Co. Limited

Toronto

There are also some remnants of the foil wrapping that would have once covered the lip of the bottle, as shown.

The bottle itself appears to be in mint condition with no visible chips or cracks. The paper label is in good condition but does have some tattered spots along the right side and towards its bottom. Very little of the lettering is affected.

There is some dried residue in the bottom of the bottle, and some on the outside as well.
