Antique portrait of couple with a serious hold that pose gaze. Their eyes are wide open as they concentrate and try hard to stay still as if their life depended on it. They look hypnotized. A name is written inside but I could not decipher it. There may be writing on the left edge but I am not sure. It could also be an embossing or rubbing from something underneath the paper. The couple has a nice symetrical look because they appear to be the same height.

Original seals and full case with a floral bouquet design. Lots of details can be seen. Nice clear image with tinting.  Size:  3" wide x 3 1/2" high

Some dust, spider mite? by the mans hand, small tarnish area on lower left, weeping glass.
