Returns and Delivery
Buying from RAS Machinery could not be easier. Simply choose your items and add to your basket, review your selection, add your details and pay.
We accept credit card payments with Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Switch, Visa Electron and Solo cards through a secure server using 128-bit encryption. If you would prefer to pay by bank transfer, please call 01234 768459
IMPORTANT
You have the right to cancel any order. The Cancellation Period begins from the day on which the contract for the supply of goods is concluded (i.e. the day of purchase). The Cancellation Period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. Goods must be returned in an unused state, and in their original packaging. The consumer is liable to pay for the cost of returning the goods to ourselves. We will return your money within 30 days of notice of cancellation (i.e. 30 days from the date the invoice was posted or given). This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
1.1 we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
1.2 we do not deliver to your area or cannot due to restrictions or access issues.
1.3 one or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. 1.4 If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.

(Normally 1-2 Working Days) Subject to stock availability – Some products may take a little longer but we will notify you when we confirm your order.
Free delivery is given for addresses in mainland England and Wales.
Scottish Highlands and Islands – Certain postcodes IV1-IV40, 1V52, -IV54, IV63, KW1-KW17, PA20-PA40, PH19-PH40, PH60 & Some remote AB codes – May incur and additional charge, we will inform you of this, you have the right to cancel the order.
All Scottish Islands – a delivery excess will apply, we will advise you of the cost, you have the right to cancel the order.
IV,PH AB, KW, PA Postcodes for Garden Tractors – we will advise the excess.
Channel Islands – NOT Delivered to.
Northern Ireland – Will incur and additional delivery charge, we will inform you.
Delivery Schedule Purchasing from us
To purchase from us you must be over 18.
By submitting your order you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying goods (including passing your details onto couriers and other subcontractors). We will not use your details for other purposes without asking your consent and you may ask that your details are removed from our system by writing to the address at the bottom of this page.
We are not obliged to supply the goods to you until we have taken full payment and verbally confirmed acceptance of your order. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the goods ordered.
All prices and offers are subject to change and availability. Errors and omissions excepted. Subject to not selling below our cost price.
Most items are kept in stock, and therefore we aim to deliver your order right away. You should normally expect to receive your order well within 5 business days ( Normally Next Day) – however it may take longer if items are out of stock. We will keep you informed of any delays.
Deliveries are normally between 9-5PM weekdays, but alternative arrangements can be made, please call for details.
*Please note that whilst we try to ensure deliveries & collection run as smooth as possible, we cannot guarantee or be held responsible for non-delivery or collections of items on a particular day.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Guarantee All products come with manufacturer’s warranty of between 1 and 5 years subject to domestic use. For commercial warranty conditions please call 01234 768459 for more specific details. Unless otherwise stated domestic lawnmowers used for commercial use will only carry a 30 day warranty unless otherwise stated.
