The new S size is slightly thinner than the original model (L size) and blends in better with your camera without making a statement. The shiny brass color of the new model will become a deeper, more subdued shade as it is used more and more. The top of the button has a gently concave curved surface design, so your finger will naturally fit into the button without conscious thought. The knurling on the sides ensures secure screwing in when installing or retightening. An O-ring is included to prevent loosening.

As with the conventional product, removing the O-ring increases the direct feel to the shutter. However, since it comes off easily, please retighten the O-ring before shooting. Some cameras may not be able to be screwed in when the O-ring is inserted. In such cases, please use the shutter without the O-ring. The conventional product is more stable in the vertical position, but it is also easier to use.
