Release button made by NAGASHI. Machined brass. Made in Japan. The color of brass shines when new, but as you use it more and more, the color will become deeper and more subdued.

The top surface of the button has a gently concave curved design, so that your finger will naturally fit into the button without you even being conscious of it. The beautiful vertical knurling on the side of the release button creates an outstanding atmosphere. The brass release feels very soft against your fingertips and you can also enjoy the aging process of the brass release. Please develop it into your own vintage style. O-ring to prevent loosening is included.

Removing the O-ring gives a more direct feel to the shutter, which also gives a better operation feel. However, please be careful not to lose it. We have installed this release on all of our practical cameras. When attached to a Leica, it provides a greater sense of stability, especially when shooting in the vertical position. In addition to the improved operability, I think the design is superb, blending in with not only Leica but also various digital cameras without any sense of discomfort.
