The inside top half is a fine microfiber.  The outside tip half is a thick, pilled fleece.  The bottom inside and outside is a wind resistant puffy-jacket type of material (called NB heat).  

The right side has a half zip to easily pull it on and off. 

There are regular pockets on both sides at the waist and zip pockets at the waist.
