I am listing some antique lingerie from an estate where I purchased antique clothing.  This listing is for an antique Edwardian petticoat with gorgeous embroidered detail.  The upper portion of the petticoat is white cotton, or perhaps a cotton linen blend.  About 2/3 of the way down a bias cut white cotton batiste is attached over the cotton or cotton linen.  The somewhat heavier weight cotton or cotton linen extends full length under the cotton batiste.  The bias cut cotton batiste overlay is embroidered with flowers and ribbons and also the initial M inside of a garland. The bottom edge of the cotton batiste has embroidered scallop trim.   The waist closes with snaps.  The embroidery is heavily worked on the light weight fabric so there are a few areas where the cotton batiste has developed a few holes as a result.  There is subtle light discoloration likely from storage. I have not attempted to clean this beautiful antique Edwardian petticoat.  Laying flat the waist measures 14 1/2".  The overall length is about 34".
