Up for auction is a fantastic pair of felt banners encompassing the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team from 1950. Exhibiting sheer dominance throughout the 40’s these soft pennants encapsulate wonderful pieces of the team’s history. The first example is a high grade team scroll version of the 1950 baseball roster and year if confirmed by the likes of Dale Coogan whom only played one year for the Pirates. Measuring 29” across from trim to end tip this beautiful green version remains in high grade with zero fading and sharp end point. The second example measures full size at 28” across from trim to end point there is slight fading seen comparing front to reverse. Please resort to overall pics for condition and Egner’s 2013 Vintage Pennant Price Guide states both being classified as Very Rare. S&H charge is calculated by Ebay via USPS Advantage service and will be gently rolled up and placed in corrugated box. Be sure to check out all my vintage items up for sale this month.
