It is earned. Your customers (which happen to be all of the current and future researchers of this planet) are the ones who bestow that title upon you. It’s not a medal, it’s even better, it’s your trust. We look to earn it, and keep it. That is partly done with good communication. I’ll try and keep this short and sweet, but please read in case you run into an issue of any kind. 1) Returns: • You can return an item no questions asked for 14 days. It is the BUYERS responsibility to ship the item back to us, and to ship it back in a package that is no larger or heavier than what the label allows. Example: We sold an item to a guy in Washington state. Very nice guy, but apparently the heating element went out in the item and he had to return it. We gladly accepted the return, however he shipped it back in a box that was 3-4x the size of the box we shipped it in. We got it back unharmed, but we also received a bill from FedEx for $531. So please, don’t do that. • We test every item when we get it, and again right before shipping. If you do get an item and there is an issue, please contact us. Our goal is to make you happy so you will continue buying from us. There may be a way to solve your problem immediately by either sending you a replacement, a replacement part, or a partial refund so you can get the part you need. If we can’t solve it while the item is in your possession, often we can have it sent back to our shop for repair, we will cover the costs and then ship it back once complete. If none of these options work, then of course we will give you a full refund. • If an item is damaged during shipping, we will file a claim. For items over a certain dollar amount, Shipping companies will want to examine the packaging to make sure it was packaged correctly. Please save the packaging until they arrive to examine and take it with them. 2) Warranty • Some of these items are available for an extended warranty for an additional charge. Please inquire if you are interested 3) Shipping • We ship in the United States, and Worldwide (to where it’s legal to ship from the USA). We also offer local pickup (free of charge), Local Delivery (for a fee), Freight (your freight company or ours is fine), and Direct Shipping (Like freight but with no stops and delivered right to you. Great for sensitive items and for large quantities purchased). • When returning an item please use the same care and protection that we used when we shipped it. • For International Shipping, there are some very important rules that you need to know. A) You cannot ship more than 44lbs (20k) internationally on eBay. The only exception is Canada, and I believe the max is 60 or 65. Now that is just if it’s done through eBay (their rules). If we go to UPS or FedEx Directly and purchase the label then we are allowed to ship up to 66lbs (30k). Anything over that weight would have to be done with a freight company or someone else. You are welcome to send us your own label (as long as we have a drop off location close by) and we will pack it up/drop it off at the facility for you. Often times, for very large international purchases (both size and dollar amount) a buyer will rent a shipping container and just pay for freight shipping to the dock, then have them load it into the container. We don’t do anything as far as booking or reserving shipping containers. We may one day, but today is NOT that day.
