This authentic Navajo
Pottery Storyteller Art necklace is created and signed by the Artist Terrie
Saxon.
This wonderful Navajo made
miniature clay pottery storyteller figure features a hand sculpted and hand
painted figure holding a single child. Both figures have hand painted details
using black, yellow, blue, light beige, tan-brown and orange-brown colors. The
bottom of the piece is hand signed: TERRIE SAXON NAVAJO
This Navajo miniature painted clay pottery storyteller is from the private
collection of an avid collector of Native American jewelry, art, and artifacts.
This piece was sourced sometime in the early to middle 1980’s during one of
the previous owners annual buying trips to the Southwest.
The storyteller figure and
necklace are in excellent condition and is free of any cracks or chipping. The
paint is in excellent condition and is free of any major flaking, scratches or
fading. There is a light glossy finish to the surface of the paint.
