From Giorgio Armani's Black Label comes this striking two-piece ensemble comprising a taupe and gray jacket with a waterfall front, and an unusual pencil skirt with ruching on the sides. As you can see, this jacket in a different fabric was chosen for the cover of the Carlton Books monograph on Giorgio Armani. It has padded shoulders and closes with a single button at the waist. The skirt has a back zipper. The jacket is a wool, viscose and nylon blend, and the soft skirt is a polyester and rayon blend. These are luxurious vintage pieces that date from the 1980s. The jacket is labeled Italian size 44, and the skirt is Italian size 42. These sizes typically correspond to US sizes 8 and 6, respectively, but the measurements indicate that both pieces are comparable to US size 10.
