Item Description:  This is a fantastic rare high quality 8x10 glossy photograph from the 1951 motion picture "Superman and the Mole Men" starring George Reeves as the Man of Steel.   This photo has been autographed in red permanent marker pen by prolific midget actor Jerry Maren, who portrayed a Mole Man,  shown in the middle   holding the ray gun (a modified vacuum cleaner with a funnel jammed in the end, Maren says.)    Jerry Maren, now in his 90s,  is the only surviving Mole Man actor.   Eventually, this movie was chopped up and made into the first episodes of the TV show "The Adventures of Superman".

This photo was signed by Jerry Maren in 2002 at his home in Hollywood, CA.  Signed photo is in near mint condition.  (See a more recent photo I took of Jerry holding his autobiography; snapshot not included in the auction.)  Note:  Jerry Maren, a prolific midget actor in film and TV, began his career in Hollywood in 1938 when he portrayed the Lollipop Munchkin in the classic film, "The Wizard of Oz."

Format:  high quality 8x10 glossy photograph signed.

Condition:  excellent to near-mint.  Note:  this is not some preprint or reprint of some nature....this is the actual signed photo up for auction.  Of course, the ebay watermark "screengems" does not appear on the actual item.
