The SY6502A is suitable for use in a wide variety of applications, such as embedded systems, robotics, automotive, medical and industrial control. It has been used in such applications as the Atari 2600, Apple II, Commodore 64, Nintendo Entertainment System, and the Nintendo Game Boy.
