Hand turned on the lathe, made from a crotch piece of Pacific Yew wood.  Lovely grain patterns and colors!  Has a nice unique shape. 

 The bowl is 6 1/2 inches long, and 5 inches wide.  It weighs 3 1/4 ounces.

 

  Finished with 2 coats of satin polyurethane, I sanded the bowl up to 600 grit for a smooth finish. 

Hand made at our family shop, Dovecote Woodworking in Estacada Oregon.  All of my Yew products are from salvaged trees that were killed in the 2020 wildfires here in Northwestern Oregon.
