What a darling little K * R antique German bisque doll.  This beauty is 11 inches tall.  There are no hairlines, cracks, etc. in the bisque as examined by a black light.  The body has had no repainting as also examined by a black light; in fact, the body is in pristine condition.  For reference see page #177 in the 12th Edition of 'Doll Values' by Linda Edward or page #111 in 'Jan Foulke's Guide to Dolls'.  This K * R doll is rare and seldom seen.  She has painted fixed blue eyes and an open/closed mouth with two upper teeth. Facial painting is excellent.  She wears an antique straw hat decorated with a ribbon and a small metal bird.  Her antique leather shoes are marked #2.  She has crocheted antique socks.  Her blonde human hair wig is antique.  All her cotton clothes are antique: lace trimmed pantaloons; crocheted underdress; lace trimmed slip; and a red checked dress.  This is an outstanding example and will make a fine addition to any doll collection.  From my home to yours.
