1906 Handwritten Letter & Photo of German Politician and Economist Waldemar Koch

1906 Handwritten Letter & Photo of German Politician and Economist Waldemar Koch. Koch studied Economics, Philosophy and History at Berlin. He received a doctorate in 1907 for a dissertation titled "Consolidation in the German Electrical Industry"
The letter was written to a Miss Emily, Waldemar describes the enclosed photo as "Sight Seeing" at a laboratory job. Seeing things no one has ever seen before. He asks her to look upon the photo as you would a "Watts" in the Tate Gallery, as he visited yesterday. He explains his impression of English artists not being of great respect for their mental qualities. He continues with his review of the gallery and it's future, as well as an upcoming steamship trip with his sister. He is looking forward to a response to his letter, and best wishes to Lady Van.
