This uncirculated 2,000 Russian ruble note was introduced by the Bank of Russia on 12 October 2017 as one of the two new denominations. It has a blue color scheme and measures 157 mm by 69 mm. Its obverse side contains the bank seal, a view of the cable-stayed Russky Bridge over the Eastern Bosphorus Strait in Vladivostok, the Far Eastern University building in Vladivostok, a QR code, and a bridge in gold SPARK. Its reverse side contains a map of eastern Russia and a rocket on a launch pad at the Vostochny Cosmodrome in Amur Oblast. Other security features include a 5-mm wide holographic windowed security thread with demetalized 2000 and a watermark of a bridge with an electrotype 2000.
