This auction is for a superb brass and enamel cigarette box with wooden interior made in India.The cigarette box is vintage and I believe but can not substantiate that it is likely to date from the period 1930s to 1950s.

The box has profuse decoration in brass with contrasting motifs and scrolled detail on a black enamelled ground.

Condition is very good with only very minor rubbing.
