Description:
A 1970 Milan surrealist exhibition poster for the Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon (1934-2005). A blue figure with many arms stands on the black ground against a gradient blue background. The bottom of the poster reads "IL MILIONE AL 21 DI VIA BIGLI MILANO 15 OTTOBRE 15 NOVEMBRE 1970" and the top reads "FOLON." Displayed in a silver tone metal frame.

Jean-Michel Folon was born in Brussel, studying architecture at the Institut Saint-Luc. Folon participated in the Venice Biennale and Sao Paulo Biennale, as well as had dedicated exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, and the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris, amongst others.
