This is an early amazing dovetailed box. I believe it was a document box at one time. It has a metal lock. There is no key. Beautiful wood! Wonderful dovetailing. This sweet little box was made into a sewing box, probably by some older lady. It comes filled with loads of vintage buttons. Don't let this one. Get it away. Bid now and make it yours. All the buttons, everything in the pictures are included in your purchase. I'm sure you could take the fabric out of the inside if that was not pleasing to you.
