1783 Washington & Independence Cent, Small Military Bust, Engrailed Edge, MS62 Brown NGC. Baker-4B, Vlack 1-A, W-10150, Musante GW-109, R.3. Ex: Donald G. Partrick Collection. Several radial and peripheral obverse cracks identify GW-109, one of two Small Military Bust die pairs. A late die state with a horizontal crack west from Liberty's forehead. This is a sharply struck, unmarked, and satiny example with lavender-gray, ice-blue, and orange-gold toning. Listed on page 77 of the 2024 Guide Book.
