Masterfully crafted and beautifully framed, this 1970s stone rubbing of a Tang Dynasty ( 6th-century ) horse brings the magic and majesty of Imperial China to your wall.

The imposing ( 26 1/2" x 20 2/4" ) work features a central motif of a regal, spirited animal in a rich red-green complement on textured, off-white paper. The image has been professionally framed in quality, gold and black painted wood and is surrounded with luxe, woven bamboo matting.

The piece and frame both appear to be in EUC . I see no damage. The only flaw I find is a small hole in the paper under the glass, shown in the photos. Hanging hardware is attached and a paper on the back certifies the piece's authenticity.

This vintage Chinese stone rubbing from the Tang Dynasty (500 AD) features a stunning depiction of a horse in red and green colors. The piece is made from paper and is a beautiful representation of traditional Chinese art. Its age dates back to the 1970s and it is an original vintage piece. The frame is in excellent used condition (EUC) and adds to the overall beauty of the piece. This would make a great addition to any collection of Asian antiques or paintings and scrolls.
